Candy Amethyst is a rare form of Amethyst in which another layer of fine crystalisation occurs ontop of the Amethyst resulting in a ‘sugar coating’ found exclusively in Uruguay, that has a sugar fine sparkle

Candy Amethyst can come in multiple colours from pink, orange, green, brown and purple due to a layer of coloured hematite underneath the sugar coating. The rarest colours of Sugar Amethyst are pink and this colour green. This is truly a beautiful collectors piece, geodes of this size are rarely found and would make a fantastic addition to any Collection.
