Copper Fire Stone

this is a slice of fire stone from a Copper Smelter in Michigan where Copper products are produced.

Fire stones are used as splashbacks at the smelter, they are eventually disguarded. A local discovered them and shaped/polished each to transform something disguarded into something beautiful!

Solid copper slices are very pricey and hard to come by in a decent size, so these are a fantastic affordable option to display a stunning copper piece without the price tag!
